Cloudflight in Linz is seeking an experienced software architect to lead cloud-native Java/Kotlin projects, shaping scalable architectures and guiding agile teams across diverse clients. You will design cloud architectures, oversee Kubernetes deployments, and champion Spring Boot and Angular, while applying OOP, design patterns, and modularization to deliver value.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in leading agile Scrum teams and guiding them toward success.
• Proficiency in designing and communicating software architecture in cloud systems to stakeholders.
• Strong knowledge of analytics, OOP, design patterns, and modularization.
• Hands-on experience with container technologies (Kubernetes) and hyperscalers (Azure/AWS/Google).
• Enjoy coding with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Angular.
• Familiarity with the books "Release It" and "Software Architecture for Developers".
• Extensive Java development experience over several years.
• Detail-oriented with ability to see the big picture.
• Fluency in German and English.

Your daily tasks will include

The following will make you succeed in this role

• proficiency in designing and communicating software architecture in cloud systems to all stakeholders
• ability to estimate the financial impact of architecture alternatives
• in-depth knowledge of analytics, object-oriented programming (OOP), design patterns, and modularization
• hands-on experience with container technologies (Kubernetes) and ideally also with Hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, Google)
• joy for coding, especially with Java/Kotlin, Spring Boot, and Angular
• familiarity with the books "Release It" and "Software Architecture for Developers"
• extensive experience in developing software applications with Java for years
• detail-oriented with an ability to keep track of the big picture
• fluency in both German & English
