Infineon Technologies is seeking a Principal Engineer SiC Epitaxy to drive development and optimization of SiC epitaxy processes in a high-tech cleanroom. The role focuses on reliability and yield to enable world-class devices across production sites in Villach and Kulim.

You will hand over qualified processes and control concepts to the production team and collaborate closely with technology development and manufacturing to push decarbonization and digitalization of power electronics.

Qualifikationen

• Master degree or PhD in Physics, Applied Chemistry or Materials Science.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in Silicon Carbide epitaxy.
• Experience optimizing tools and processes for high performance and high reliability SiC devices.
• Fluent English; German as a plus.

Aufgaben

• Be responsible for the development and optimization of SiC epitaxy single process solutions in terms of reliability and yield to enable world class devices.
• Hand over qualified processes and control concepts to the production team.
• Work in close collaboration with the technology development team and production in Villach and Kulim.
