You will lead end-to-end migrations, optimize code, develop automation tools, and mentor junior DBAs.

Qualifikationen

• 10+ years experience with Microsoft SQL Server, expert-level T‑SQL knowledge.
• Deep understanding of T‑SQL internals (query optimizer, execution plans, indexing).
• Proven track record migrating large databases SQL Server → PostgreSQL.
• Strong PostgreSQL features, PL/pgSQL, and performance tuning.
• Hands-on with complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers.
• Analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead end-to-end migration projects from SQL Server to PostgreSQL, including schema conversion and data migration.
• Analyze and optimize T‑SQL code for cross-platform compatibility.
• Develop migration tools, scripts, and utilities to automate processes.
• Support IT development workflows with Jira/Confluence, and GitHub/GitLab integration.
• Document migration architecture, processes, and lessons learned.
• Mentor junior DBAs and developers on T‑SQL internals and performance.
