Senior Software Engineer, Telemetry Experience

Sentry is a leading application monitoring platform trusted by over 200,000 organizations. The Telemetry Experience team is responsible for transforming billions of daily events into actionable insights for developers. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will own the end-to-end experience across the Sentry.io product, working with Python/Django and PostgreSQL on the backend, and React and TypeScript on the frontend. You will collaborate closely with SDK and ingest teams to shape telemetry contracts and ensure a seamless developer experience through APIs, workflows, and interfaces.

The role requires 5+ years of experience building full-stack web applications, with strong skills in React, TypeScript, and Python (Django or similar) paired with a relational database like PostgreSQL. You should have a proven track record of driving complex projects from concept to delivery, including cross-team coordination. Excellent written and spoken English communication is essential, as well as experience using AI-powered development tools. Familiarity with observability systems, high-volume data stores, or open-source contributions is a plus.

The position offers a competitive salary above the IT-KV minimum of EUR 60,844 gross annually, along with comprehensive benefits, equity grants, and opportunities for professional growth.
