The University of Vienna invites applications for a Senior Scientist for Photonic Quantum Computing in the 51 Faculty of Physics. You will join the Quantum Information Science and Quantum Computation group and contribute to experimental photonic quantum computing using quantum-dot single-photon sources.

We seek a Doctoral degree in physics with 2+ years postdoctoral experience in experimental quantum optics and quantum computation, strong publication record, and ability to lead projects, teach

Qualifikationen

• Doctoral degree in physics.
• >2 years’ postdoctoral experience in experimental quantum optics and quantum computation.
• Profound expertise in quantum-dot single-photon sources, multi-photon processing, integrated photonics, time-bin interferometry.
• Proven publication record in international peer-reviewed venues.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Teaching experience and ability to communicate knowledge to students.
• Experience with Python, LaTeX and MATLAB.
