Job summary

Vienna Insurance Group is seeking a Risk Management Specialist to support Solvency II and Group Steering. You will help integrate qualitative and quantitative risk perspectives, assist in regulatory reporting, and contribute to Group-wide risk management improvements.

The role requires a degree in Business Administration or Financial Mathematics, strong quantitative skills, and fluency in German and English. Hybrid work is offered and the position is full-time, asap.

Qualifications

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Financial Mathematics, or a comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in risk management, ideally within the insurance industry.
• Strong quantitative understanding and numerical skills with a holistic view.
• Experience with reporting processes, ideally in a regulatory environment.
• Knowledge of Solvency II and, ideally, the IRRD is an advantage.
• Very good written and spoken German and English language skills.

Responsibilities

• Support regulatory and internal reporting processes, including QA of qualitative and quantitative content.
• Support the further development of Group-wide risk management processes.
• Analyze and assess risk topics for Group-wide steering and reporting purposes.
• Assume (sub-)project responsibility and coordinate data submissions.
• Provide guidance to Group companies on Solvency II and risk management topics.
