The role features lateral leadership, driving alignment across Product Groups and engineering disciplines, with an onsite-first work mode and occasional home-office days.

Qualifications

• Degree in software engineering, electrical engineering, automation, mechatronics, systems engineering or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in hardware, software, embedded-system or complex product development.
• Ability to understand complex technical and organizational dependencies and translate them into pragmatic solutions.
• Ability to build alignment and drive implementation without relying on formal authority.
• Fluent German and English skills.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end development processes for hardware, software and embedded systems.
• Establishing common process principles across Product Groups, while supporting teams in adapting them to their specific environments.
• Collaborating with tool owners, DevOps and IT to improve tool integration, traceability and workflow automation.
• Assessing process maturity and coordinating process changes driven by new technologies, organizational developments or regulatory requirements — including the use of AI and automation.
