Job summary

DL Remote is building a Platform Team in Klagenfurt and seeking a Tech Lead / Senior Platform Architect (m/f/d) to own the platform layer and drive architectural decisions. You will architect backend services, APIs, and scalable infrastructure, while shaping team structure and development processes from the ground up.

You will work in a hybrid remote role, collaborating with the Graz HQ and the local Austrian office.

Qualifications

• Senior backend or full-stack developer with long-term product development experience.
• Strong architecture experience with OO languages (Java, C#, .NET, or Python).
• Experience designing APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Solid knowledge of containers, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop resilient backend systems and API endpoints for our central platform (Klagenfurt).
• Define and substantiate architecture and design choices for upcoming modules.
• Scale and tune current services alongside core platform infrastructure.
• Integrate new functionalities into an existing legacy system with clean interfaces.
• Own operational performance, reliability, and production deployment processes.
• Serve as a technical advisor to shape workflows and team dynamics from day one.
