RootSys seeks a Senior Offensive Security Consultant / Penetration Testing Engineer to plan, execute, and lead penetration tests across diverse environments. You will identify security weaknesses through realistic attack scenarios and deliver actionable recommendations to bolster client security.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years hands-on experience in application security, including secure code review, web and mobile testing, and OWASP Top 10.
• Proficiency with common penetration testing tools (e.g., Burp Suite, Nmap, BloodHound, fuzzing tools, custom scripts).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to explain complex issues clearly.
• Heavy interest in cutting-edge technologies and a hacker mindset.
• Programming experience in Java, .Net, PHP, Ruby, Rust, Go, C, or C++.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English (written and spoken).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, OSCE, OSEP, CREST, GIAC) or equivalent practical experience.
• Published security research, blog posts, or advisories (CVEs).
