Zusammenfassung

Infineon Technologies Austria is seeking a Senior Engineer PCB and Software Development for Reliability Stress Tests in our Manufacturing and Operations team. You will design high‑frequency PCB layouts, develop hardware and software tools, and drive stress testing to qualify prototypes.

We value a strong background in SMPS topologies, MCU programming, and signal integrity, plus excellent collaboration with internal stakeholders across projects. English fluency is required; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s or PhD in Power Electronics, Electronics, or comparable field.
• Deep knowledge of high-frequency, high-power DC/DC converters for SMPS.
• Understanding of magnetics and capacitors.
• Experience with microcontroller programming (XMC, C8051) using C, C++, LUA.
• Expertise in high-frequency PCB design, EMC guidelines, circuit design, and simulation tools (Altium, Cadence, LTSpice, MATLAB).
• Strong analytical thinking and structured troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Fluency in English; German is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align on development progress, requirements, and timelines.
• Simulate and analyze complex circuit designs for advanced hardware development.
• Create PCB schematics, layouts, component selections, and stack-up definitions for prototypes.
• Perform design reviews and hardware verifications.
• Optimize test systems and define design guidelines for stress hardware development.
• Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis during qualification testing.
• Develop software tools, test scripts, and automation for system control and data collection.
