Novartis in Schaftenau, Austria, is seeking a Senior Expert Engineering to lead device development within the Global Device and Packaging Development (GDPD) team. You will drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver robust autoinjector and combination product components, from concept through lifecycle management.

We seek a PhD/masters in engineering, 5+ years in medical device development, and strong design and modelling skills, with fluent English and a proactive, independent work style.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor, Master or PhD degree in engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in medical device or combination product development.
• Experience with plastic/metal components; tolerance analysis, modelling and testing.
• Excellent English; German a plus.
• Autonomous and independent worker with cross-functional interaction.

Aufgaben

• Deliver development and lifecycle management in cross-functional teams for safe, robust products.
• Own device parts of an autoinjector and system integration with prefilled syringes.
• Advance design development per design control and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure component quality for trials and production.
• Support audits and health authority inquiries.
