BRP‑Rotax, a leading powertrain specialist in Austria, seeks an Experienced Designer to contribute to design, validation and optimization of components in complex systems. You will impact project delivery, ECR processes and product quality within a dynamic, international team.

The role requires 3–7 years in mechanical design, proficiency with Creo/Windchill, SAP BOM management, and fluent German and English.

Qualifikationen

• HTL Matura or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–7 years of experience in mechanical design within complex systems.
• Proficient in CAD tools (Creo, Windchill); SAP BOM management.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost constraints.
• Able to work independently under general guidance, solve design‑related technical issues, and support external design resources when needed.
• Collaborative team player with a strong focus on quality, standards, and on‑time delivery.
• Fluent level in German and in English.

Aufgaben

• Design parts and system modules and contribute to related engineering processes (e.g. quotations, Bills of Materials, documentation).
• Deliver assigned work packages on time, meeting functional, manufacturing, and cost requirements.
• Support project milestones and engineering change processes (ECR).
• Review and validate drawings and system designs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and quality standards.
• Ensure designs meet Rotax engineering guidelines and applicable standards.
• Escalate to higher levels only in the case of non-standard or complex issues.
