A leading IT consulting firm in Austria seeks an IT Law expert to draft and finalize various IT contracts, including software licensing and cloud agreements. The ideal candidate should have a German law degree and over 10 years of experience in the IT sector, preferably with software vendors. Fluency in German and English is essential, while other languages add value. This full-time mid-senior level position requires strong organizational and communication skills, alongside the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.

Jobbeschreibung

IT Law expert including drafting, negotiating and finalizing varied IT contracts, with an emphasis on standard software licensing, SaaS/Cloud, reselling, MSP and other channel agreements as well professional services agreements.

• Proficient in assessing contract requirements, critical provisions/terms and conditions to ensure compliance with our templates and applicable laws and regulations.
• Excellent knowledge of German preferably also of Austrian and Swiss law, GDPR, AI and corporate governance, code of ethics and conduct and compliances.
• Must be solution and goal oriented, a strong team player and capable of working with little supervision to a common goal.
• Must have excellent interpersonal, communication and writing skills.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements

• German law degree preferred with minimum 10-year experience in the IT industry (ideally with standard software/SAAS vendors).
• Language skills: German (near native) and English (business fluent), other foreign language is a plus.
• Must be a go-getter with excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through and meet deadlines.
• Common sense, great judgment, and a good sense of humor.
• Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and proven ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management are required.
• Ability to travel at short notice if needed.
