Avaloq, a leading global wealth management technology provider, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex cross-functional programs in SaaS/PaaS/IaaS contexts. You will design and execute plans, manage scope and risk, and communicate with C-suite stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery.

You will guide multi-disciplinary teams across product, delivery, and quality units, drive governance, and optimize budgets while mentoring junior managers. English fluency required; German is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• 8-10 years of project management experience in SaaS/PaaS/IaaS/BPaaS contexts.
• Proven track record delivering results in international and diverse environments.
• Knowledge of PM methodologies incl. Waterfall and Agile; familiarity with MS Project and Jira.
• Outstanding communication and presentation abilities; effective stakeholder management.
• Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies.
• Strong problem solving and decisive decision making.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and manage multiple projects.

• Exceptional leadership and team motivation skills.
• Discussing technical details with developers and driving consensus among stakeholders.

• PMP certification or equivalent is a bonus.
• Experience leading RFI/RFP processes, vendor negotiations, contracting, hiring, and managing third parties is a bonus.
• Exposure to the financial services industry is a bonus.

Aufgaben

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans for regulatory and/or innovation projects with timelines and budgets.
• Manage scope, risks, issues, and quality from initiation to closure with Top Management alignment.
• Develop mitigation strategies to address risks and resolve issues as they arise.
• Provide weekly status updates and progress reports to executives.
• Bridge product vision with delivery, ensuring deadlines are met per the project timeline.
• Lead cross-divisional and cross-functional teams to achieve milestones.
• Oversee budgets and monitor ETC in line with project progress.
• Conduct post-project evaluations for lessons learned and improvements.
• Mentor and develop junior project managers and team members.

Requirements

• Manage scope, risks, issues, and quality throughout the project lifecycle in alignment with Top Management and C-suite executives
• Develop mitigation strategies to treat risks and resolve issues as they arise
• Provide weekly project status updates, progress reports, and potential roadblocks to Top Management and C-suite executives
• Bridge the gap between product vision and a delivery-oriented approach, ensuring deadlines are met according to the project timeline
• Lead cross-divisional and cross-functional project teams to achieve project objectives and milestones
• Oversee project budgets and ensure Estimate To Complete (ETC) is continually reviewed according to project progress
• Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and lessons learned
• Mentor and develop junior project managers and team members
