Job summary

Google LLC Kronstorf, Austria is seeking an Operations Technician to install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and server software across Google's data center infrastructure.

You will configure networks, lead small project teams, and develop contingency plans while working with cutting-edge computer technology in a demanding, hands-on role.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
Austria: €74000 - €75500 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

• Contribute to and lead efforts/projects in the deployment, maintenance, and support of Google Cloud region (e.g., cloud data center) infrastructure.


• Lead troubleshooting and resolve escalated technical issues regarding affected equipment.


• Help test and troubleshoot new server hardware components and designs. Configure and troubleshoot Operating System (OS) related issues on the server.


• Resolve technical issues (e.g., hardware, software, application, operational, process) using different tools until final resolution, communicating with different stakeholders.


• Work non-standard hours, including working weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as required.
