Qualifikationen

• Qualified accountant with degree in finance and accounting or professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 10 years of practical working experience in IFRS external reporting.
• Experience in complex IFRS knowledge, especially mergers and acquisitions, alliances, divestments and revenue recognition.
• Ability to communicate IFRS knowledge to non‑accounting colleagues.
• Strong cross-network liaison with stakeholders at different levels in a large organization.
• Fluent spoken and written business English.

Aufgaben

• Dedicated senior resource on IFRS accounting and related impact assessments in cross‑functional setup on transactions or projects related to mergers & acquisitions, alliances, partnering, financing, tax accounting, divestments and group‑wide system implementation.
• Preparer role for the year‑end and half‑year external IFRS consolidated financial statements.
• Lead and manage technical accounting operations for monthly closing and external reporting events.
• Translate IFRS and other reporting standards into detailed, operational reporting specifications and update the Group accounting manual as necessary.
• Facilitate internal financial training events at Roche together with other members of the team / network, as well as updating related training materials.
• Ensure an effective internal control system.
• Identify and implement process improvements on a timely basis.
