Century Camper Trailer Pty Ltd is a fast-growing Australian business specialising in the design, assembly and sales of high-quality trailers and caravans. With multiple branches across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, we are expanding rapidly and strengthening our HR and compliance functions.
We are now seeking an experienced Senior HR Officer / HR Manager to join our team on a Casual (1-2 days per week). This role plays a key part in managing HR operations, employee relations and Work Health & Safety across all branches.
This is a senior, autonomous and impactful HR position.
You will lead the company’s HR function and ensure our multi-site operations remain compliant with Fair Work and WorkSafe Queensland requirements.
Human Resources
Lead end-to-end recruitment for all branches
Draft, review and manage employment contracts, HR policies and onboarding documentation
Provide HR advisory support to management
Manage employee relations matters including conflict resolution, performance issues and formal warnings
Coordinate staff training, onboarding and performance review programs
Maintain HR records, timesheets, leave data and payroll-related information
Interpret Modern Awards and ensure full Fair Work compliance
Work Health & Safety (WHS / WorkSafe)
Maintain and update WHS policies, procedures and safety documentation
Oversee incident reporting, hazard management and corrective actions
Manage WorkCover claims and Return-to-Work plans
Coordinate site safety checks and compliance follow-ups with branch managers
Provide WHS training and ensure all stores meet WorkSafe Queensland obligations
Liaise with external regulatory bodies when required
You are a confident and knowledgeable HR professional with broad generalist experience and strong understanding of Australian employment law.
5+ years’ HR generalist or HR management experience
Strong understanding of the Fair Work Act and Modern Awards
Demonstrated experience in employee relations and dispute resolution
Knowledge of Work Health & Safety requirements (WHS / WorkSafe)
Experience managing HR for multi-site environments (highly regarded)
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
HR-related qualifications (Diploma, Bachelor or above preferred)
Casual – 1-2 days per week
Based at Brisbane Head Office
Some work may be completed remotely (policy writing, documentation, HR advisory)
Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Indicative range: $45–$65 per hour + Super
