Zusammenfassung

OMV Group is seeking a geochemist to lead inorganic geochemistry modelling across Exploration & Production and Low Carbon Business projects. You will design models to simulate rock-fluid-gas interactions and oversee laboratory experiments using autoclaves and core-flood testing.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Geochemistry and at least 5 years of experience, with strong English skills and willingness to travel 1–2 weeks.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Geochemistry or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in geochemistry.
• Excellent English language skills and ability to work in international, interdisciplinary teams.
• Hands-on experience with laboratory experiments related to rock-fluid-gas interactions, including autoclave and core-flood testing.
• Proven project management experience and ability to prepare industry reports and publications.

Aufgaben

• Advance and implement inorganic geochemistry and geochemical modelling solutions across Exploration & Production and Low Carbon Business projects.
• Design, develop, and execute geochemical models to simulate rock-fluid-gas interactions and predict scaling behavior.
• Plan, manage, and perform advanced laboratory experiments using autoclaves, core-flood systems, and related testing methodologies.
• Provide geochemical expertise for geothermal, CCS, and other subsurface projects.
• Integrate geochemical findings with reservoir modelling, geomechanics, and other subsurface disciplines.
