Alpha HPA is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to build and mature its FP&A capability, working with the Head of Finance and senior leaders to develop planning, forecasting and reporting processes, improving systems and delivering commercial insights.

The role focuses on building from scratch, taking ownership, and partnering across the business to drive value. This is a strategic FP&A position with development opportunities as the company grows.

Senior Finance Analyst

An exciting opportunity has become available to join Alpha HPA, one of Australia's fastest-growing advanced manufacturing companies, as it continues to expand its operations during a significant period of growth and investment.

Following substantial investment across both its operations and finance function, Alpha HPA is seeking an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to play a pivotal role in building and maturing its Financial Planning & Analysis capability.

This is a newly created position that offers far more than traditional budgeting and reporting. Working closely with the Head of Finance and senior leaders across the business, you will help shape the future of FP&A by developing best-practice planning, forecasting and reporting processes, improving systems and automation, and delivering commercial insights that support strategic decision-making.

The role will suit an experienced finance professional who enjoys building rather than maintaining, is comfortable working autonomously, and has the technical capability to improve financial processes while partnering closely with stakeholders across the business.

The Opportunity

About You

You will be a CA, CPA, or CFA qualified finance professional with proven experience operating in a Senior Finance Analyst, FP&A or Commercial Finance role.

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

• Advanced financial modelling capability
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis experience
• Excellent ERP systems knowledge together with advanced Excel skills
• Experience report development, financial systems, PowerBI and business workflows
• Outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• The ability to operate autonomously while influencing outcomes across the business
• A continuous improvement mindset with ambitions to grow into future leadership responsibilities

Exposure to manufacturing, industrial or project-based environments will be highly regarded, although candidates from other complex commercial environments are encouraged to apply.
