kununu Austria GmbH is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to reimagine our recommendation landscape across a high-traffic platform. You will own the data science lifecycle from framing problems to production rollout and will build agentic, LLM-driven applications on a massive collection of workplace insights.

Qualifikationen

• Hands-on data science experience including a production-ready recommendation/personalization system.
• Strong foundation in statistics and ML; experience with multi-armed bandit experiments or RL is a plus.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL; comfortable with modern data warehouses and transformation tools like dbt.
• Ability to write clean, tested, reusable code and participate in code reviews.
• Ability to explain complex results simply and mentor others.

• Own the full data science lifecycle from framing problems to production rollout.
• Apply bandits and RL to personalize content in a high-traffic environment.
• Design and build LLM-driven, agentic applications on large unstructured data sets with robust evaluation.
• Collaborate with product and engineering to translate business questions into data science problems.
• Define success with product; select metrics, run experiments, and convert hypotheses into results quickly.
• ML lifecycle: build reproducible data foundations, monitor quality and cost, and improve models over time.
• Mentor junior team members and review their work; act as sparring partner for the team lead on ML concepts.
