Machine Learning Reply Austria is seeking a Data Scientist to work on leading‑edge technology projects, with a strong technical background in data science.

You will analyse problems with clients, develop state‑of‑the‑art algorithms, deploy solutions, and collaborate in an open, flat corporate culture with modular projects across industries in Vienna. Travel may be required, German and English skills are important.

Qualifikationen

• Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, physics or comparable.
• Solid experience with Python, JavaScript or Java.
• Excellent software engineering skills (algorithms and data structures, OOP, CI/CD, testing).
• Sound knowledge of machine learning and statistics with related expertise.
• Knowledge of cloud services from AWS or Azure or on-premise deployment.
• Experience prioritising customer needs and delivering business value.
• Experience with agile development concepts like Scrum.
• Excellent German and good English skills, willingness to travel.

• Identify and analyse problem solutions and discuss them with the customer.

• Be the point of connection between the technical team and management realising business needs.

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, mathematics, physics or comparable.
• Solid experience with Python, JavaScript or Java.
• Excellent software engineering skills (algorithms and data structures, object‑oriented programming, CI/CD, automated testing, optimisation and writing tidy code, etc.).
• Sound knowledge of machine learning and statistics, ideally with expertise in at least one of the relevant areas, e.g., NLP, recommender systems, time series, computer vision.
• Knowledge of cloud services from AWS or Azure, or alternatively experience with on‑premise deployment.
• Experience in prioritising customer needs and creating solutions or applications which bring business value.
• Experience with agile development concepts like Scrum.
• Excellent German skills, good English skills, and willingness to travel if required by the project.
