Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Architect, Data Modeler, or similar senior data-focused role.
• Fluent English and German (minimum B2 German).
• Deep practical expertise in data modeling, including designing complex relational data structures.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data architecture, data flows, and system integrations.
• Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server.
• Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership in complex environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve enterprise-wide data models and architecture standards.
• Establish consistent approaches for structuring, managing, and governing business-critical data.
• Act as the central link between business stakeholders, Data Engineers, BI teams, and solution architects.
• Gather and translate business requirements into scalable data structures and technical concepts.
• Define modeling guidelines, best practices, and architectural principles across multiple business units.
• Drive decisions around data structures, integrations, and system interactions.
