About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Corporate Accountant who thrives in a supportive, close-knit team and enjoys having broad exposure across financial reporting, compliance, and process improvement. Based in our Brisbane office, you’ll play a central role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and insightfulness of our financial information.

In this role, you’ll partner closely with the Financial Controller and leaders across the business, contributing to a culture built on collaboration, trust and continuous improvement. Roster: Monday to Friday (X2 Days WFH)

Key responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and support Board reporting
  • Lead half-year and full-year statutory reporting
  • Maintain accurate balance sheet reconciliations
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies
  • Support Board and Audit Committee paper preparation
  • Oversee treasury, tax calculations and key regulatory lodgements
  • Drive system and process improvements across the finance team
  • Mentor team members and contribute to a collaborative culture
Qualifications and experience
  • CPA or CA qualified
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce
  • Significant experience in a Senior or Specialist Accountant role
  • Strong ASX and statutory reporting experience
  • High computer literacy, including ERP systems and Excel
  • Proven ability to improve processes and optimise systems
  • Confident communicator who can influence stakeholders
  • Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
