About the Role

This senior role provides vital commercial and contractual support within a complex and highly regulated environment. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will act as a secondary point of contact for contract management matters, assisting with commercial analysis, documentation, stakeholder engagement and performance oversight.

The position works closely with internal specialists across finance, procurement, governance and program delivery. You will help prepare and review contract documentation, support negotiations, draft agreements for new opportunities and contribute to tenders, reports and change proposals. This is a role for a commercially minded professional who can work with precision, communicate clearly and influence positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide senior commercial and contractual support including documentation, analysis, reporting and change proposals within a regulated Defence and government environment.
  • Act as a secondary point of contact for contract management, supporting negotiations and ensuring obligations are communicated and met across internal teams.
  • Prepare and review customer and subcontractor agreements, and draft NDAs, MOUs, teaming agreements and RFQs for new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with finance, procurement, governance and program delivery teams to strengthen commercial outcomes, compliance and overall service performance.
About You

You will have a minimum of five years’ experience in a commercial or contracts focused role within a complex environment. You will demonstrate a strong understanding of performance‑based contracting and the capability to operate confidently within complex contractual frameworks. You will be adept at interpreting and implementing contractual obligations and contributing to the preparation of change proposals.

You will bring polished communication skills supported by strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder engagement capability. You will also hold a degree in Commerce or Business and be eligible to obtain a Defence security clearance.

A legal background and experience with ASDEFCON would be highly regarded.
