Zusammenfassung

Erste Digital is seeking a (Senior) Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. You will work with our data engineering team to enable DataOps and ensure secure, cost-efficient cloud environments across AWS and/or Azure, with Terraform at the core.

The role requires deep Linux proficiency, strong networking knowledge, and good communication in English; German (B2) is a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Profound experience with Terraform, AWS (preferred) and/or Azure.
• Strong understanding of the data lifecycle and experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role.
• Proficiency in Linux.
• Strong understanding of network configurations, firewall rules, and security policies.
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English; knowledge of German (e.g. B2) is a plus.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Terraform, AWS (preferred) and/or Azure.
• Collaborate with data engineers to support DataOps processes and ensure efficient data lifecycle management.
• Optimize cloud resources for performance, cost, and security.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and management tasks.
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues.
• Implement and manage network configurations, including firewall rules and security policies.
