Job summary

Klinikum Austria Gesundheitsgruppe GmbH is seeking a Cloud Engineer to join a technology-focused team in Vienna. You will operate and optimize the AWS production cloud, drive Terraform-based infrastructure and CI/CD automation, and collaborate with developers to integrate new technologies and tools.

The ideal candidate has extensive AWS and IaC experience, strong Linux and Kubernetes skills, solid networking knowledge, and practical GitOps experience, with German language skills considered a

Qualifications

• Extensive AWS experience and IaC fundamentals.
• Hands-on Linux and Kubernetes administration.
• Solid networking, load balancing and DNS knowledge.
• Strong DevOps mindset with GitOps practices.
• Familiarity with GitLab, Terraform and cloud tooling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and optimize the production environment in the AWS Cloud.
• Develop, deploy, automate and maintain AWS infrastructures with Terraform and GitLab.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate new technologies and tools.
• Develop and maintain the CI/CD pipeline.
• Ensure a stable, highly available and scalable cloud architecture.

Our client, an established technology company with a modern development environment and a clear focus on innovative software solutions, is expanding its team in the area of Cloud Engineering.

Your responsibilities:

• Operation and optimization of the production environment in the AWS Cloud
• Further development, deployment, automation, and maintenance of AWS infrastructures using Terraform and GitLab
• Close collaboration with development teams to integrate new technologies and tools
• Further development and maintenance of the CI/CD pipeline
• Ensuring a stable, highly available, and scalable cloud architecture

Your profile:

• Extensive professional experience with AWS and Infrastructure as Code
• Several years of hands-on experience with Linux and Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge in:
  • Networking, Load Balancing, and DNS
  • Windows Server and Domain Administration
• Very strong know-how in DevOps and GitOps methods
• Ideally experience with GitLab, Hashicorp Vault, Terraform, Grafana, Prometheus, and Alertmanager
• Good English skills; German skills are an advantage
