About the Role

As a Senior Bike Mechanic, you’ll be the go-to expert for all things technical—leading premium builds, solving complex mechanical challenges, and mentoring your teammates. You’ll work hands‑on with riders, helping them get the most out of their gear and time on the bike. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced retail environment, loves problem‑solving, and is eager to share their knowledge.

What You’ll Do
  • Deliver best‑in‑class mechanical service and complex bike builds
  • Be the technical authority in‑store and a trusted advisor to riders
  • Mentor and support Service Technicians and Sales staff
  • Provide exceptional customer service and technical consulting
  • Accurately book and manage service jobs using scheduling software
  • Collaborate with Rider Care and Service teams to ensure seamless experiences
  • Stay up to date with the latest products and complete Specialized University training
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming workshop environment
What You’ll Bring
  • 1–3 years’ experience as a bicycle mechanic (retail experience preferred)
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for helping people
  • A love for cycling and enthusiasm for the Specialized brand
