Bachem Holding AG is seeking a Senior Project Manager Automation to lead the DSP automation for a major CAPEX program in Switzerland. You will translate process needs into automation concepts and coordinate with engineering, IT/OT, and Quality to ensure GMP-compliant delivery.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in pharma/biotech automation, strong DCS/PLC know-how (Siemens PCS7/PCSneo, TIA Portal, WinCC) and hands-on CAPEX project leadership.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in automation, chemical engineering, biotechnology or related field.
• 8–10 years automation experience in pharma/biotech environments.
• Strong process automation expertise and GMP/GAMP5 understanding.

Aufgaben

• Act as Senior Project Manager and Automation SME for a major CAPEX program (>CHF 100 million).
• Lead automation workstream for downstream manufacturing: chromatography, filtration, purification.
• Translate process requirements into automation concepts and control strategies.
• Review and optimize automation designs and system architectures with external partners.
• Coordinate with engineering, IT/OT, Quality; manage external contractors; ensure schedule & budget.
