Zusammenfassung

BloFin in Vienna seeks an experienced AMLO and Sanctions Officer to lead its AML/CFT and sanctions program and support MiCA readiness. You will design, implement, and supervise policies, controls, and reporting to meet EU and Austrian requirements.

You will liaise with the Austrian FMA, collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct risk assessments, and deliver training. Fluent English is required; German is preferred. This is a high-visibility role in a fast-evolving crypto environment.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in law, economics, finance, or related field.
• At least five years of compliance experience in financial institutions or fintech.
• Knowledge of blockchain, digital assets, and crypto regulation.
• Fluent in English; German skills preferred.

Aufgaben

• Serve as central AML/CFT and sanctions contact with internal teams and the FMA.
• Design, maintain, and rollout AML/CFT policies and procedures per EU/Austrian rules.
• Oversee AML/CFT framework including customer due diligence and onboarding.
• Establish internal controls for MiCA authorization and governance alignment.
• Track regulatory developments and advise on impact for operations.
• Assess policy effectiveness and drive improvements.
• Perform AML/CFT risk assessments and report to management.
• Deliver AML/CFT training to staff and control functions.
• Support development of new products and workflows with risk input.
