We are currently seeking a Senior Office Administrator to join our well-established successful business based in Hemmant. Reporting to both the Managing Director and General Manager, this role will play an important part in providing administration, HR and financial support to the business.

About the role

This is a full-time or part-time (minimum 24 hours/week) Senior Office Administrator role to provide support across the business with the key areas of focus being:

Office Management and Administration
  • Oversee all administration functions across the business
  • Support a small administration team
  • Maintain and improve office systems, processes, and procedures
  • Prepare reports, manage documentation, and maintain compliance records
  • Maintain internal communications and scheduling for leadership teams
  • Assist with phone calls and front desk support when needed
  • Experience with accounting and stock systems
  • Accounts experience including:
  • Creating invoices and bills
  • Managing cash flow
  • Collaborating with external accountants
  • Experience with managing payroll
  • Monitoring office budgets and expenses
HR Administration
  • Assist with HR, including new hire documentation
  • Oversight of weekly payroll
Business Compliance
  • Managing annual insurance and any updates through the year
  • Managing compliance with industry and business regulations including WorkCover, super, ATO and AICIS
  • Liaise with suppliers and customers
  • Assist with procurement from overseas and local suppliers
About You
  • Proven experience in Office, HR and Financial Administration
  • Excellent organisational and time management abilities
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative software
  • Must have experience with Accounting software
  • Must have experience running Payroll for a small team
  • Experience in the industrial, manufacturing, or oil and gas sectors (highly regarded but not essential)
