Zusammenfassung

AustriaCard is seeking an experienced accounting professional to oversee month-end and year-end closing, GL management, and audit support within an international group. You will supervise day-to-day accounting activities, support tax and regulatory reporting, and collaborate with Controlling and Group Reporting teams.

Fluency in German and English is essential, with a Bilanzbuchhalter qualification and strong Excel and SAP skills.

Qualifikationen

• Certified Accountant qualification or equivalent accounting certification.
• 5+ years of professional accounting experience, ideally in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of Austrian GAAP (UGB) with IFRS principles and application.
• Experience with month-end and year-end closing and audits.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is advantageous; strong systems and process improvement skills.

Aufgaben

• Lead month-end and year-end closing coordination.
• Manage general ledger activities and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Oversee daily accounting operations including AR, AP, bank, and fixed assets (SAP).
• Support internal controls and process improvements.
• Assist external auditors and respond to audit requests.
• Support VAT, Intrastat and other regulatory reporting.
