Job title: SAP – Service Delivery Manager
Location: Leoben, Austria
Contract Duration: 1 Year with possibility of extension
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage SAP projects as a Service Delivery Manager, ensuring successful execution across all phases (planning, implementation, closure)
- Provide Application Management Services (AMS) support and coordinate with SAP Basis teams for optimal system performance
- Lead SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Oversee project governance, reporting Work on SOW, SLA, KPI, problem, risk, and change management to ensure compliance
- Collaborate closely with both internal SAP teams and external consultants
- Ensure project objectives are met regarding costs, timelines, and quality
- Support pre-sales activities, account mining, and opportunity identification to drive business growth
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment and support throughout project lifecycle
- Relevant Experience: 5+ years in SAP project management (SAP ECC 6.0 and
- S/4HANA), demonstrating a solid understanding of project lifecycle
- SAP Knowledge: Hands-on experience with SAP Production and Planning (PP) and SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) modules
- Project Management: Strong skills in managing project phases, governance, and stakeholder engagement, with a focus on delivering results
- Languages: Proficient in Local (B2 – C1 Level) and English (B2), both spoken and written
- ITIL Knowledge: Familiarity with the ITIL 4.0 framework to enhance service management practices
- Tools: Experience with incident handling tools (ServiceNow, Remedy, JIRA)
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Industry Experience: Background in Electronics or Manufacturing sectors for contextual understanding of business needs.
- Education: Degree in (Business) Computer Science or comparable qualification, providing a strong technical foundation.
- Certifications: SAP and project management certifications (PMI, Prince, etc.) to validate expertise and commitment to best practices.
- AI and Automation: Knowledge of AI and automation from a project management perspective to leverage emerging technologies
- Interpersonal Skills: Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal abilities to foster collaboration
