Job summary

Armacell in Austria is seeking a senior IT leader to own the global SAP Manufacturing and Supply Chain domain, spanning PP, QM, MM, warehouse and logistics. You will lead a distributed SAP team and drive the Plan-to-Deliver transformation with a clean-core approach.

You will partner with global process owners and translate strategy into priority SAP solutions while governing template deviations and implementation decisions. International rollout experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in SAP Manufacturing or SCM delivery
• Hands-on SAP PP/PP-PI with MM/QM/WM experience
• End-to-end understanding of production planning, materials management, warehousing and logistics
• Experience delivering SAP implementations, international rollouts or transformation initiatives
• Leadership experience with distributed SAP teams
• Fluent English and university degree or equivalent experience
• Willingness to travel ~20% (35% if remote)

You will act as the key business-IT counterpart for the entire Plan-to-Deliver domain and play an important role in our global S/4HANA transformation, driving process harmonization, prioritization and successful implementation.

You will lead a global team of SAP experts across Manufacturing & Supply Chain and be a member of the IT Applications & Services Leadership Team.

This is a global IT leadership role at the intersection of business processes and SAP technology - not a traditional Supply Chain management position.

Your Tasks

• Own the global SAP Manufacturing and Supply Chain domain across PP, QM, MM, warehouse and logistics
• Serve as the primary IT counterpart for global and sub-process owners across the Plan-to-Deliver domain
• Translate business strategy and operational requirements into clear priorities and sustainable SAP solutions
• Drive process harmonisation using fit-to-standard and clean-core principles while governing global-template deviations
• Lead the Manufacturing and Supply Chain stream within the global S/4HANA transformation and rollout programme
• Guide solution decisions covering production planning, APO replacement, warehouse processes and shopfloor integration
• Act as a hands-on SAP leader, contributing expertise across PP/PP-PI and related Manufacturing & Supply Chain modules while actively supporting solution design, implementation decisions and complex problem solving
• Lead and develop a distributed team of SAP experts, establishing clear priorities, accountability and capabilities
• Govern projects, enhancements, partners and support services across scope, quality, cost, risks and service levels

Your Profile

• At least ten years’ experience in SAP Manufacturing or Supply Chain application and delivery environments
• Proven hands-on expertise in SAP PP or PP-PI, supported by practical experience with MM, QM, WM or EWM
• Strong end-to-end understanding of production planning, materials management, warehousing, logistics and related processes
• Experience delivering SAP implementations, international rollouts, process harmonisation or broader transformation initiatives
• Proven people leadership experience, ideally involving international or geographically distributed SAP teams
• Strong stakeholder, partner, project and communication skills, with confidence challenging experienced SAP specialists through deep functional expertise
• Comfortable combining strategic domain ownership with active involvement in solution design, key implementation activities and operational challenges
• A relevant university degree or equivalent professional experience, combined with fluent English
• A pragmatic, hands-on and delivery-focused approach, interest in applied AI and willingness to travel ~20% (~35% if remote based)
