We are seeking a Robotics Systems & Embedded Engineer to join our office in Vienna. This role is the vital link between our complex software ecosystem and the physical world. You will work at the intersection of firmware development, sensor fusion, and robotic control, ensuring that our hardware executes high-level logic with real-time precision. You aren't just writing code; you are building the foundation that allows our robots to perceive, navigate, and manipulate objects in dynamic human environments. We are looking for a curious, hands-on engineer who is tired of "perfect" simulations that break in the real world. You are someone who enjoys the "close-to-the-metal" experience—debugging signal noise, optimizing real-time performance, and seeing your code come to life in a physical machine. While experience in robotics is a fantastic asset, it is not a mandatory requirement. We value deep expertise in embedded systems, real-time Linux, and robust C++ development over specific prior robotics experience. MScor PhD in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalentexperience.
3+years of professional software development, preferably 1-2 years in robotics.

A robot that cannot navigate reliably cannot be useful. In this role, your work directly influences how our robots move, reason about space, and perform robustly in real-world environments outside ideal lab conditions.
This is a high-impact role for an engineer who enjoys the full loop: algorithms, architecture, integration, field debugging, and long-term product reliability in contact with real environments and real users.
