Our delightful care facility is located in the eastern suburbs of South Australia. Approximately 20 minutes from Adelaide CBD. Our primary goal is to provide the highest-quality support and care tailored to each participant's lifestyle and needs, enabling all participants to achieve their goals & outcomes.

About the Role

As a Facility Care Manager you will be required to be a leader with excellent management skills, and responsible for providing leadership to the team, ensuring high-quality care and service delivery for the Residential Facility.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the efficient operational and financial management
  • Review facility incidents, complaints and changes
  • Support and lead the team including induction training, coaching, mentoring, staff allocations and delegation, performance management
  • Ensure compliance with the SRF standards and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Act
  • Work closely with your leadership team and frontline staff to ensure a positive, friendly, helpful and engaged culture exists
  • Responsible for oversight of all aspects of the care provision, direction and performance
  • Prepare and conduct various audits
  • Oversee medication management in accordance with resident needs and legislative requirements
  • Liaise with allied health, medical practitioners and other services to provide optimal resident care
  • Prepare and follow up relevant documents based on the new practice standards and ensure all the documents are complete and updated
Skills and Experience
  • Registered or Enrolled Nurse or equivalent experience in Health/Disability Industry.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience operating within the disability/NDIS sector
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative or case management role
  • Sound working knowledge of the NDIS
  • Proficient in using Microsoft applications, such as Outlook and Excel
  • Emotionally intelligent, an ability to empathise with NDIS participants and adapt to their needs
  • Ability to calmly perform in high pressure situations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Current or willing to obtain NDIS workers screening check
  • 3 x Covid-19 Vaccinations
