Research Technician Biomarker-directed precision therapeutics for childhood cancers for AITHYRA and CeMM (m/f/d)

The Winter Lab is looking for a highly motivated Research Technician who is excited to work in our international group, learn and execute state-of-the-art cell-based assays for drug discovery, and accelerate the early-stage development of a novel class of cancer biotherapeutics.

Yourrole

Tasks and responsibilities contain, but are not limited to:

• Cell-based assays (cell viability, flow cytometry, immunofluorescence)
• General molecular biology techniques (cloning, ELISA, immunoblotting, immunoprecipitations, PCR)
• RNA-seq and proteomics sample preparation
• Technology development and optimization

Your profile

• Degree in life sciences ( MSc, Mag, DI)
• Excellent background in molecularbiology or biochemistry
• Prior experience in a wet-lab as well as previous experience in biotech or pharma industry are an advantage
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• High accuracy and reliability, able to work seamlessly in a dynamic and young team

Together with other research groups at AITHYRA, we work at the interface of Biomedicine, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning. In this position, you will be working alongside an experienced chemical biologist supporting the development and biological activity testing of a novel class of precision biotherapeutics.
