A leading university program is seeking a candidate to conduct advanced organic and polymer synthesis and characterization. This role involves investigating transport dynamics and selectivity while developing expertise in high throughput functional molecule synthesis. A PhD in Materials Science and Engineering or Chemistry is required, along with strong experience in organic synthesis and electrochemistry. The position also entails designing and performing independent research experiments.

This position will conduct advanced organic and polymer synthesis and characterization to deepen the fundamental understanding of structure-property correlations for ionic and electronic transport. The project aims to investigate the fundamental mechanisms for transport dynamics and selectivity. This hire will develop expertise in high throughput functional molecule synthesis and carry out independent research. They are expected to design and perform experiments both independently and in collaboration with faculty and students.
PhD in MSE or Chemistry and strong organic synthesis and electrochemistry experience, publication record in top-tier peer-reviewed journals.
