Zusammenfassung

Tomorrow University of Applied Sciences is seeking an experienced research development professional to build our external research funding engine and lead strategic funding initiatives. You will work with the Vice President of Research to identify opportunities, form international consortia, and craft winning proposals that secure European, German and international funding.

Qualifikationen

• Successful track record securing competitive research funding (EU, national or international).
• Experience building and coordinating interdisciplinary research collaborations and consortia.
• PhD in AI or Technology; at least five years of professional experience after master's, including three outside academia.
• Academic publication and/or applied research record.
• Experience supervising higher education research projects.
• Passion for innovative online education and learner-centred teaching.
• German language skills are desirable but not mandatory.

Aufgaben

• Develop and implement Tomorrow University's research strategy.
• Identify national and international funding opportunities aligned with priorities.
• Build interdisciplinary research consortia with universities, industry, NGOs, and public-sector partners.
• Lead and contribute to competitive funding applications (EU, national, international).
• Translate funded research into learner opportunities and educational experiences.
• Support delivery of funded projects from proposal to implementation.
• Teach and supervise theses linked to funded projects.
