Appsierra Group is seeking experienced analytical chemists to evaluate advanced AI systems on technically complex, potentially dual-use questions. You will assess whether a model provides appropriate technical assistance, limits responses, or refuses when necessary.

This remote contractual role involves developing challenging prompts, evaluating AI responses, and writing clear rationales for non-specialists.

Qualifikationen

• Detection and identification of hazardous compounds using GC-MS, LC-MS/MS, IR, or NMR
• Analytical method development and validation for trace-level analysis
• Laboratory QA/QC, proficiency testing and accreditation experience
• Experience with AI evaluation or red-teaming is useful

Aufgaben

• Develop prompts in three categories: benign, dual-use, adversarial
• Evaluate AI-generated responses against safety and quality standards
• Determine whether the model's handling was appropriate
• Create reference answers describing appropriate responses
• Provide clear technical reasoning to support evaluations
• Assess chemistry safety understanding and misuse risks
