Amazon is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Area Manager in Vienna to lead a team of engineering technicians, delivering high equipment availability through preventive maintenance and strict safety practices.

You will train and coach staff, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure adherence to safety standards. A technical Bachelor's degree plus multi-disciplinary engineering experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• Significant practical engineering experience including a supervisory role.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited university.
• Multi-skilled in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
• Experience with automated equipment including packaging machinery, sortation and conveyors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and the local language (CEFR B2+).
• Experience with health and safety standards and regulations.
• Solid computer skills (MS Office, CAD).

Aufgaben

• Lead, support and mentor the team, ensuring safe, standard and efficient work.
• Collaborate with the network to leverage technical expertise and build solutions.
• Support Site Safety and Site Leadership to implement safety and compliance programs.
• Ensure preventative maintenance to maximize equipment availability.
• Organize training to ensure adequate technical coverage for shifts.
• Lead local projects or support EU-level projects as directed.
• Be prepared to work shifts to stay connected with the team.
