An IT service provider is seeking a skilled developer to work on projects for a large Austrian bank. The ideal candidate will possess advanced skills in TypeScript and Node.js, and should be experienced in building applications with React. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, contributing to system architecture, and producing high-quality code. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and database systems like Oracle or PostgreSQL is preferred.

Wanted Expertise

Your Tasks

Working closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements.

Contributing to system architecture design and defining technical solution concepts.

Building and maintaining frontend applications with React as well as backend services using Node.js.

Producing high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.

Identifying and resolving defects, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring continuous system stability.

Conducting code reviews and upholding established coding standards and best practices.

Designing and executing test cases to guarantee application reliability and performance.

• Assisting with deployment activities and monitoring production environments after release.

Requirements

Core Skills:

• Advanced proficiency in TypeScript
• Strong understanding of OpenShift and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps practices)
• Solid expertise in database administration (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) with hands-on PL/SQL experience
• Proven ability to process and manage large-scale datasets in memory-constrained systems
• Practical experience designing and implementing GraphQL and RESTful APIs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with the Meteor framework
• Knowledge of application security standards and best practices (e.g., OWASP)
• Experience working with S3-compatible storage solutions
• Experience developing applications with React
• Sound understanding of testing methodologies and automated testing strategies
