EBH Environmental Group is seeking an experienced Quarry Manager to lead our Recycling & Transport Facility in Wyong, NSW.
As Quarry Manager, you will oversee all aspects of site operations – from production and quality assurance to safety leadership, equipment management, and financial performance. You’ll provide strong leadership, guiding your team to deliver on key outcomes while maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.
This is a pivotal role responsible for compliance, maintenance planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement, ensuring daily targets and environmental obligations are consistently met.
Reporting directly to the business owner, you’ll work closely with the production manager and the operations team to embed structure, discipline, and accountability across the business.
Roster: FIFO Mon–Fri (Monday morning fly-in, Friday night fly-out) with flights, accommodation, and vehicle provided.
Lead, manage, and develop staff to achieve operational and production targets.
Oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with EPA, WHS, and company standards.
Drive efficiency, safety, and quality assurance across recycling and transport operations.
Manage maintenance scheduling, parts procurement, and plant performance tracking.
Ensure weighbridge, reporting, and invoicing systems are accurate and reconciled daily.
Coordinate production planning, equipment utilisation, and resource allocation.
Prepare and deliver daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.
Implement and maintain risk management and continuous improvement systems.
Support the Production Manager and mentor team members to maintain accountability and discipline.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in quarrying / extractive industries / crushing operations.
Strong knowledge of plant operations, compliance, and environmental management.
Proven people leadership.
Ability to build, implement, and maintain operational processes.
Solid technical understanding of production planning and maintenance coordination.
Highly organised with strong communication, scheduling, and reporting skills.
Computer literate: confident with Microsoft Office, Xero, and resource scheduling systems.
RIIRIS601D – Risk Management System qualification.
SSE (Site Senior Executive) Practising Certificate – desirable, but not essential.
Additional equipment/operator tickets advantageous.
