Zusammenfassung

Sonova is seeking a Python Software Engineer to join our scaled agile teams working on high-tech tools for firmware development in the medical hearing health care sector. You will help build, test, and release firmware-supporting tools for signal- and neural-network processing.

The role requires 5+ years in embedded software, with strong Python, Matlab/Simulink, and CI/CD skills, plus hands-on Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions experience and collaboration across international teams.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of experience in the development, deployment and maintenance of embedded software systems (mandatory).
• Proficiency in Python, Experience with Matlab & Simulink.
• Fluency in CI/CD systems, hands on experience with DevOps Azure, GitHub Actions.

• Collect and refine requirements as required for design and implementation.

• Contribute to design reviews, leverage best-practices in software development, document and implement guidelines.
• Contribute to architectural qualities in support of conceptual integrity, modularity and extensibility.

Python Software Engineer

This is your opportunity to work in a scaled agile environment within international teams developing high-tech solutions for the medical hearing health care sector.You will be responsible for the development of tools for building, testing, and releasing firmware for our products.

More about you

• 5+ years of experience in the development, deployment and maintenance of embedded software systems (mandatory)
• Proficiency in Python, Experience with Matlab & Simulink
• Fluency in CI/CD systems, hands on experience with DevOps Azure, GutHub Actions
• Eagerness to work across different technologies
• Team player with service orientation
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good to have qualifications:

• University degree (MSc/BSc) or equivalent in computer science or related technical field
• Knowledge of one (or more) of the following technologies: C, C++ (including CMake and Conan), Docker
• Foundational knowledge in Signal- and Neural Network Processing is a plus
