Your tasks

• Proactive monitoring of the decommissioning project portfolio as well as further development of reporting and the overarching portfolio view
• Organisation and moderation of steering and coordination meetings including structured documentation
• Expenditure and cost accounting controlling in close collaboration with the responsible financial officers
• Reporting to the department management and directorate as well as preparation of decision-making bases, documents, and presentations
• Coordination of inquiries from relevant stakeholders such as supervisory authorities, EFV/EFK, and the ETH Board on the topic of decommissioning
• Participation in decommissioning projects and support for interdisciplinary questions in decommissioning

Your profile

• University degree (Master-s), for example in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a comparable field
• Several years of experience in project portfolio management as well as confident handling of corresponding tools and methods
• Experience in dealing with supervisory authorities as well as demanding internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in managing large industrial projects in plant engineering, e.g. in decommissioning, radiological waste management, nuclear facilities, or a similarly regulated environment is an advantage
• Ability to prepare complex issues appropriately for the target audience
• Strong communication skills, diplomatic tact, and affinity for science and research
• Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
