About the role

This is a full‑time opportunity to join the team at De-Construct.com.au as a Project Manager/Estimator for demolition projects. Based in Richmond, South Australia, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of demolition projects, from estimating and planning to project execution and delivery. Your role will be pivotal in contributing to the company's growth and success within the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for demolition projects
• Developing detailed project plans and schedules to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
• Managing all aspects of demolition projects, including resource allocation, site supervision, and stakeholder communication
• Identifying and mitigating potential risks to ensure project success
• Collaborating with the wider team to continuously improve processes and drive innovation
• Ensuring projects are completed to the highest safety and quality standards

What we're looking for

• Substantial experience as a Project Manager/Estimator in the Demolition or construction industry
• Demonstrated success in managing complex demolition projects from start to finish
• Excellent estimating and project planning skills, with a keen eye for detail
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Thorough understanding of demolition and construction regulations, safety protocols, and best practices
• Proficiency in using project management and estimating software
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor more junior members
