Qualifikationen

  • Starke Verhandlungskompetenz und Kommunikationsfähigkeiten erforderlich.
  • Idealerweise Kenntnisse im Vertragsrecht.
  • Erste Berufserfahrung im Einkauf und/oder in der Automobilindustrie von Vorteil.

Aufgaben

  • Management des Bestellprozesses für zugewiesene Programme und Plattformen.
  • Überwachung wichtiger einkaufsbezogener Programmkennzahlen.
  • Entwicklung wettbewerbsfähiger Material- und Werkzeugkosten.
  • Eigenständige Verhandlungen mit Lieferanten führen.
  • Identifizierung von Abweichungen und Initiierung von Kostensenkungsmaßnahmen.

Responsibilities:
  • Responsibility for managing the internal and external operational handling of the ordering process for your assigned programs and platforms, from quotation to invoicing
  • Maintain an overview of key purchasing-related program metrics from project start to completion, monitoring program and platform requirements as well as project progress
  • Develop competitive material and tooling costs for customer quotations in close collaboration with internal departments and ensure early involvement of strategic suppliers
  • Represent the Purchasing department to internal and external partners
  • Independently negotiate with suppliers based on target specifications for purchased parts and make joint decisions with internal procurement committees following sourcing, shortlisting, risk assessment, and design-to-cost activities to select the best supplier
  • Identify deviations or cost-saving opportunities within your area of responsibility and proactively initiate cost optimization measures
Who we are looking for:
  • Professional demeanor, structured working style, and ideally knowledge of contract law
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and assertiveness
Your preferred qualifications:
  • Completed technical education (HTL / FH / TU) with a focus on Electronics, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, Industrial Engineering, or similar
  • Initial work experience in purchasing and / or in the automotive industry is an advantage
  • Very good German and English language skills
What you can look forward to:

It is important to us to offer a fair and attractive remuneration package. The gross monthly salary for 38.5 hours according to the collective agreement for the automotive industry is at least EUR 3.802,93,- (14 x p.a.) for this position. Overpayment based on relevant experience and qualifications is common practice.
