A prestigious Austrian university is seeking a Professor of Closed-loop Supply Chain Management. The successful candidate will join the Department of Operations and Information Systems to focus on sustainability and closed-loop systems. Responsibilities include teaching and supervising students, as well as engaging in meaningful research. A doctorate and experience in research and teaching are required. The position offers a gross annual salary starting at €92,460.20 and promotes flexible working hours.

The successful candidate will complement the Department of Operations and Information Systems’ research emphasis on closed-loop supply chain management and broaden it with sustainability aspects. Application-oriented research and teaching should be initiated whenever possible. Cooperation with companies and business-related institutions would be preferred. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver appropriate teaching courses for students of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences, as well as supervise bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral theses.
The successful candidate will be highly motivated, aiming for academic excellence and integrity in research and teaching. He/she will have demonstrated ability to collaborate constructively in a responsible manner and inspire colleagues and students in an interdisciplinary, internationally oriented context.
