Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD in Food Science, Food Technology, Process Engineering or related field.
• Requires teaching qualification or willingness to obtain one.
• Excellent command of German is essential since teaching is conducted predominantly in German.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a research group in beverage innovation.
• Lead, support and develop a multidisciplinary team.
• Plan, manage and coordinate human and financial resources.
• Acquire third-party funding for applied R&D projects with industry partners.
• Module responsibility: design, coordinate and teach modules on the Bachelor's in Food Science, focusing on process and product development for liquids and semi-solids.
• Supervise term papers and theses at Bachelor and Master levels.
• Promote knowledge transfer and build networks with industry and academia.
• Contribute to continuing professional development programmes.
• Shape strategic development of the centre.
