SKIDATA, located in Austria, is seeking a Product Security Engineer (m/f/d) to lead security initiatives within the Platform team. You will drive vulnerability management, promote secure coding, and organize security testing across the organization.

You will collaborate with developers, architects, and security champions, applying OWASP principles and industry standards while leveraging cloud, Docker, and microservices. English fluency and teamwork are essential.

What You'll Do

• Lead Product Security Initiatives: Drive vulnerability management efforts, efficiently processing and prioritizing reported and identified CVEs in close collaboration with software development teams.
• Champion Secure Development: Support development teams in establishing and implementing secure coding practices across the organization.
• Drive Security Testing: Participate in and facilitate penetration testing, both internal and external, to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
• Lead the SW-Security Circle: Guide a community of practice group bringing together security champions from each area, working closely with principal architects to shape our security culture.

What You Bring

• Strong experience with secure coding practices and code analysis tools
• Solid threat modeling expertise and hands-on penetration testing experience
• Sound knowledge of OWASP principles and IT security standards (ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity, PCI DSS, or similar)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or .NET
• Experience with cloud services, Docker, and microservices architectures
• A solid understanding of software architecture and identity and access management
• Fluent written and spoken English skills
• A team player who thrives in a highly collaborative environment

We offer a competitive salary based on your qualifications and professional experience. The minimum salary for this position according to the collective agreement is EUR 2,535.00 gross per month on a full-time basis. Of course, your actual salary will be adjusted in line with the market based on your qualifications.
