VusionGroup is seeking a Technical Product Manager for IoT Infrastructure in Austria. You will define, develop and improve the infrastructure for scalable IoT solutions and act as the interface between Product Management, R&D, Operations, and Sales.

You will drive requirements, manage hardware-to-cloud ecosystems, and ensure secure, scalable, and reliable implementations aligned with the product strategy.

# Product Manager Infrastructure (m/w/d): Fernitz bei Graz, Steiermark, at: Aug 28, 2026: Sep 23, 2026## About the roleAs a Technical Product Manager for IoT Infrastructure, you will be responsible for defining, developing and continuously improving the infrastructure required to operate scalable and reliable IoT solutions.You will act as a key interface between Product Management, System Engineering, R&D, Operations, and other stakeholders, driving infrastructure-related topics from requirements and technical evaluation through development, validation, product launch and product introduction for sales.Key Responsibilities:- Own and drive the technical product management of IoT infrastructure and related components.- Manage the evolution of infrastructure across hardware, connectivity, wireless communication and software platforms.- Translate business, customer, and operational needs into clear technical requirements and product priorities.- Act as the key interface between Product Management and R&D for infrastructure-related topics.- Drive technical topics from requirements and concept definition through development, validation, launch, and lifecycle management.- Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with the overall product strategy.- Coordinate and align with key stakeholders across R&D, System Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Sales.- Provide the necessary technical depth to understand system dependencies, evaluate technical trade-offs, and support product decisions.- Support Sales and customer-facing teams in complex technical discussions where product or infrastructure expertise is required.- Maintain an end-to-end view of the IoT ecosystem and ensure alignment between individual infrastructure components and the overall solution.Education:- University or Higher Technical College in Information Technology, Software Engineering or similar.Experience:- Minimum 3 years of experience in technical Product Management, System Engineering, Solution Engineering, IoT, telecommunications, network infrastructure, or a comparable technical role.- Experience working with IoT or connected-device architectures.- Proven experience working directly with software and/or hardware development teams.- Experience participating in technical customer or Sales discussions is highly beneficial.- Experience translating customer and business requirements into technical requirements and development priorities.- Solid technical understanding and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.- Good knowledge of IoT technologies and networking, including wireless communication protocols such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), Zigbee, and LoRa.
